Welcome to Wyrd Raven Tarot
It is natural for us to turn to spirituality in times of joy, sorrow and other intense emotions. When I learned to channel that connection with the divine on a daily basis, no matter my emotional state, my life became so much more meaningful.
I started Wyrd Raven Tarot as a way to help others incorporate spirituality into their daily lives. Since then, we have grown more than I ever imagined. I am glad that you have made a stop here on your personal journey, and I hope it guides you on your path.
What is Wyrd Raven?
Wyrd is Anglo-Saxon concept meaning fate or personal destiny. Wyrd can be thought of as becoming something new, on a new path, while still being able to see that which has passed before back to the beginning and incorporating that into the present. Wyrd is like a giant web, each decision or action is a string tied to your past and present, eventually shaping the way to your future becoming the whole picture of a web. Wyrd is the path one travels in life. Everything that you have been, are now or ever will be.
Ravens represent the air element. Air governs thought, communication, philosophy, intellect, and generally most workings of the mind. Ravens specifically represent secret knowledge, wisdom, prophecies, and connection to the other side. The third eye is our eye that knows, not sees. It helps us tap into our intuition, psychic ability, and the higher self.
